My first and most important job is being a mom. My husband and I are raising three wild, bright, and beautiful boys and they are my whole world. Life as a boy mom is... well, a little chaotic (LOL), but it's also full of joy, bugs, reptiles, and more Avengers and Star Wars marathons than I can count. It’s messy and loud and so full of love and I wouldn’t trade a second of it.
Motherhood is what led me here.
It lit the fire in me to freeze time, to bottle up the little moments before they slip away. I’m the kind of person who wants to remember everything, the glow of pregnancy, the way my babies fit in my arms, the way their laugh changes as they grow. I’ve always felt an ache to hold on to the good stuff—not just for me, but for them, and for the generations who will follow.
I often daydream of the future, where my husband and I snuggled on the couch with our grandkids, flipping through old photo albums, sharing the stories of our love, our life, and the family we built. I hope those stories live on long after us. Passing them down like heirlooms wrapped in golden light.
And now? I get to help families create something that outlives the moment.
Photographs that whisper stories across generations, so that one day, your grandchildren will know the joy, the laughter, and the love they came from.
MYSTORY
I didn’t always feel like I had a place.
School was tough for me. Tests, grades, lectures… none of it made sense. I struggled to feel smart, to feel seen. But when I picked up a camera in high school, it was like someone flipped a switch. I had finally found the thing that lit me up. I could create something from nothing, see the beauty in the ordinary, and express myself in a way words never allowed.
Fast forward a few years, and I became a mom, times three. Life got loud, messy, beautiful… and fast. I started picking up my camera again, not for art class, but to capture my boys as they grew. I didn’t want to forget the way they looked at me, the little strands of hair behind their ears, or the way their tiny hands fit into mine. That’s when I realized this was more than just a hobby, it was a way of holding on to the moments that make life real.
But it took time to find my voice again as a photographer. For a while, I played it safe by posing families, lining them up just right, making sure everyone smiled. And while the photos looked “nice,” they didn’t move me. They didn’t show what love felt like. I wanted more than perfect. I wanted true, honest moments.
So I went back to my roots.
To the version of me who once said, “I want to turn ordinary things into art.” I realized the most beautiful stories live in the quiet, messy, everyday moments. The way a mom tucks her kid’s hair behind their ear. The way a family laughs so hard their eyes close. The way love shows up when no one’s looking at the camera.
Now I break the rules on purpose.
I crop heads, embrace blur, and cheer when no one looks over at my camera, because that means everyone’s too busy living in the moment.
Those are the kind of photos that don’t just freeze time, they keep moments alive.
Words cannot describe how impressed I am with this woman and her talent! Our first session was a year and a half ago, and I knew right then- she was our forever photographer. She made our little awkward selves feel so comfortable and confident in front of the camera! When my husband proposed to me- I knew I wanted HER to be my photographer! She picked out the perfect location and the pictures were to die for!! That being said-I couldn’t resist not having her be my Wedding photographer!
My wedding album was SO AMAZING!!
She and her Husband, Nathan, completely exceeded our expectations. We are so happy these are the pictures we get to look at for a lifetime.
Thank you, Cecilia for capturing these beautiful memories.
